This may not come as a surprise to many that know us but we are going to HAWAII!!!

Ever since our September 2008 trip, there has not been a day that goes by that we don’t miss Hawaii and dream of having our ‘happily ever after’ there. We feel very nostalgic any time there is any reference to Hawaii because hands down we spent (so far) the best time of our lives while being there. We loved the sites, the beaches, the culture, the food, the adventure, the relaxation…WE LOVE EVERYTHING about Hawaii which is why it was not even a matter of discussion when we had to decide where to go for our honeymoon.  

On our last trip we visited Maui and Oahu. We love the adventure and quietness of Maui, doing little excursions throughout the island and enjoying the nature sites like Hana, going up to the Haleakala Volcano, getting wet at the caves and blow holes, swimming in streams and jumping into waterfalls and from cliffs into the sea. In Oahu, we had wonderful dinners and loved going to all the beaches. Our favorite beach was the Kahala since it is such a relaxing resort, with great luxuries as well as beautiful sites. We also went horseback riding in the sunset, kayaking, surfing and so many other great adventures. On our honeymoon we might go to the Big Island to see the active volcano and either go back to Maui or Oahu…or both! Haha.

We really loved every second of everything we did there and we will have an amazing time no matter what island we go to or what activities we do. We will always keep dreaming of the day we could call Hawaii our home.
