How We Met

We met while working at Tyco in the summer of 2006. Every year, Dai had to annoy Anthony to get the work she needed from him which he would not do it until the last minute. It was not until November 9th, 2007 that Anthony won a dinner bet by guessing what became one of our many ‘first songs’ Lovestoned… (although our true first song was a few weeks back when Anthony created a blank CD with one song ‘A whole new world’ and left at Dai’s cubicle). That night, we had dinner at NYC’s Rainbow room and we had an amazing night out in the city.  It didn’t take long after that for our relationship to blossom and for us to realize that we were meant for each other.

Our Times Together

We have been to wonderful vacations and we have made so many beautiful memories in the short year and halt that we have been together including Vail, Vegas, Gran Canyon, Atlantic City (our home away from home in summer of 2008), Miami, Buffalo, Hawaii, and Orlando.

What we truly love is doing things together. We love our apartment in Jersey City and being at home with Moomoo (the baby), or going out to the city or our movie nights which we have probably seen over 50 movies, easily. We really just enjoy spending time with each other no matter where or what we are doing.

The Engagement

In December-January 2008/2009, we made a trip to Orlando with Dai, Anthony and Dai’s mother. We had a fun time during New Year’s at Disney’s Epcot Center and enjoyed all the other Disney and Universal parks we went to throughout the trip. On January 2, 2009 we spent the day at the Magic Kingdom ‘The place where dreams come true’. We had a wonderful day, went on all the rides and had a magical day together. That night we had a reservation to dine at Cinderella’s Castle. We sat in the middle of the dinning room and had an amazing dinner. Then Cinderella’s godmother came out and sang ‘Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo" song and told everyone in the dinning room that if you have a wish in your heart that it will come true. This is when Anthony got down on one knew and neither of us really remember what was said other than 'how much we love each other and we want spend the rest of our lives together and then the …‘Wl you marry me’ question. Dai cried, Dai’s mom was in shock, happy! but in shock of the surprise. Then… she said ‘yes’ and the entire dinning room clapped and congratulated us. Afterwards we stood outside of the castle and watched the beautiful ‘Wishes firework show’.

That night was truly a magical night and our dream did come true. That was the beginning our fairytale and we cannot wait until the wedding and to our happily ever after.
